According to a Post on X (formerly known as twitter) by TV47, a 17 year old candidate has had to sit her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in the maternity ward of Lodwar County Referral Hospital.

According to that tweet, the candidate gave birth to a healthy baby boys a couple of days ago and was still recuperating at the facility. As such, she could only do the national exam therein.

According to the Hopital Director, Joseph Epem, the new teen mother is a special case in that she was defiled. He went ahead to implore the police to hasten their investigation in order to bring the suspect to book.

He insisted that,” We want the perpetrator arrested so as to help curb teen pregnancies”
